Travels With George: New York is the latest cat book, a cat story made perfect by Deborah's exciting illustrations that extend the tale with humor and great art. It's a sequel to our bestselling Travels With George: Paris. The series of cat's eye adventures started with the story of how George and Billy made it to France by smuggling their way in luggage, tired of being left behind with cat sitters. Once there, their people had no choice but to bring them along.
For the new cat book about New York, the situation is different. The economy being what it is, their people decide on a "staycation," taking the time to tour their own hometown like tourists. Of course, George and Billy are delighted and happily tag along to The Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building, Central Park and much more, all of it colorfully and playfully recorded in Deborah's illustrations.
